Hybrida Fest is an intimate experimental arts and music festival set amidst the Swedish forests. As far as we know, our format, which combines the outcomes of our artist residency with the festival, is unique in Sweden. It began as a small celebration at the end of our residency in 2021. Although still small in scale, it has become an annual event that grows a little every year. We host a diverse program, centred around new artistic experiences and collective exploration over three days at the peak of the Swedish summer, including communal meals with home-cooked food.
Our line-up blends a variety of live performances, DJ sets, art, and workshops that push the boundaries of their genres. The music program spans various styles, including dance, storytelling, singing, modular synthesizers, live instruments, Techno, Electro, Trance, and Bass Music.

This year we're looking for an intern to join us, and contribute to the work with our Instagram account as well as the on-location festival production. This person will be integral to our team, and get to know everyone involved in the project, from volunteers to artists. They will get core insights into what it takes to run cultural projects and productions, including social media strategies, budgets and logistics. Due to the scale of the project still being small, the internship is not paid, but we will cover all travel costs, and provide food and lodging during the work on site.

Areas of responsibility
○ Regular posting on our Instagram account, which is our main channel for communication ○ Content production during the festival ○ Assist the team during the production of the festival
Candidate Profile
○ This role is for someone who is studying in the extended fields of marketing/culture/art, and who is “fluent” in social media
○ We look for someone who adapts quickly to circumstances, who can make independent decisions (we will always guide and help you when needed) and who is keen and curious to learn
○ Driver's license
Scope
○ About 2 hours per week, from now until the third week of June.
○ Between the 23/6-6/7 there will be about two weeks of full-time work with the festival on location in Älvsbacka
